Great webinar today hosted by Brandon Turner regarding analyzing rental properties. What cities in Texas are worth taking a look at for rental properties purchases? Any input would be great. Thanks everyone.

I have a rental in Lubbock, TX. It was a former primary residence turned rental. Lubbock has a solid rental market with a growing population and large university. And the taxes are lower than a lot of other parts of Texas. (Mine are in the low 2% range).

I haven't bought anything in Lubbock since moving to OKC. The rent/purchase price ratios are similar but I stick with OKC because am able to self-manage here and my taxes are significantly less.
