Investing in realestate as a foreign National

I read a post today that really got to me. A young man mentioned that he wanted to invest in realestate, but is here on a visa and is working on getting his naturalization documents to start investing in realestate. He has $80k in cash just waiting to pull the trigger. The advice I offered him was to get out there and do it. As we could buy properties in other countries why can’t he. There are no laws in the US to prevents you from buying property as a foreign national. He has more than enough for cash offers and private lending and there are also Foreign national loans available if he needed financing.

What’s your opinion, advice or words of encouragement for him? Hopefully he will come across this post and take his next step toward the American dream.
