Buy now or wait for the next recession?

Hi All,

I’m debating whether I should purchase another investment property now or wait until the recession. I’m curious to hear the opinion of others in the BP community.

Thanks,

Cameron

Yup, I agree with @George W. Waiting for a recession or the "right time," is likely to leave you waiting forever. Not to say another recession won't happen, but there's always a reason not to take a chance and many new investors are waiting for "the next recession," but we will never see another clearance sale like we did in 2011. I talk to a lot of people waiting for a grand slam for their first deal- and they will keep waiting. Define your goals and buy properties that will help you get there; don't pay attention to the market as a whole, pay attention to your personal goals and evaluate each purchase accordingly.
