McKees Rock investing?

I was curious if anyone has invested in McKees Rocks in Allegheny County Pa? I'm trying to make my first purchase and it seems like I can always find a property with a great CAP rate, but they're always in Mckees Rocks and everyone tells me not to invest there, but the people I speak with are not investors so I would like another investors perspective! Anything helps.
