Hello everyone,

I am looking to invest in multifamily within the capital region and many have told me that there is not much in the market as of right now and that it is capping off, is this true? What are your thoughts on this market and some nearby markets such as East Greenbush, Schenectady, Troy etc.

@Dylan Huynh Hey Dylan, I’m definitely no expert but there are deals in Albany if you look hard enough. I’m sure one of the two agents above would do wonders in helping out. Search Zillow and trulia, put on some keyword searches and you’ll be getting email after email. After a while you’ll find a deal that you like.

Also, not sure if you’re into it, but I know a few people who own a bunch of student rentals in the pine hills area and make great cashflow. Best of luck!
