Question regarding a pre approval
Hello everyone, I’m literally starting to dive into the real estate world. I have been working towards my first purchased for a while now so I have worked on all aspects of this process, credit, down payment etc. What I want to have clarify is all realtors want me to have a pre approval before I even start looking at homes...and I understand why...sort of. But is it really necessary? I know that if I don’t close on a deal it won’t affect my score but I have been listening to podcast and videos from this website where they state that a credit run is not necessary. If so how can I tell my realtor that I don’t want my credit checked? Thanks everyone!
