Urgent Opportunity Zone Tax Deferral Question

Hi,

This is slightly urgent. I am planning to make an all cash offer on a property in Opportunity Zone this Thursday. Planning to sell most of my stocks to make the purchase.

Have a question about deferring the capital gains. Do I need to register an LLC to make the purchase in order to defer the gains or can the LLC creation be done afterwards. As of now planning to make the offer personally in my name.

This is a big purchase for me so want to make sure I get this clarified.

Thanks
