Re-deed the title from my personal name to LLC

Does anyone know what cost is involved when one purchases a property in DC under personal name and then eventually re-deed the title to LLC. Will I have to pay another portion of record and transfer taxes? If so, at what % of what? Please note this specifically pertains to a property in DC.

The transfer of real estate from an individual to his/her wholly owned LLC is not exempt from transfer and recordation taxes in DC. There is an exemption for entity conversions (29-204.06) but that's not the instant question.

The clerk will tax at 2.2% of the current tax assessed value of the property if less than $400k... or 2.9% of the assessed value if it is $400k+.  So we're likely talking about many thousands of dollars here.
