Scam? Too good to be true house for sale for $35,000 in Atlanta
Did anyone see the ad on Zillow yesterday that was a huge bargain.
A fairly new decent 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house was sold for only $35,000. (2426 Gilbert Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30331). It was sold by owner and the “owner” wanted the interested buyers to contact his agent, not the ones that show up on Zillow website.
The owner also stated that they are a family that owns multiple properties and once a year, they sell one of the properties for less than $50,000.
...Why would anyone purchase a house for $183,000 and after a year sell it for $35,000?? Is that a typical scam or is there a tax benefit? It just did not make sense to me.
The ad was gone within 24 hours.
