INVESTOR BOUGHT TWO PROPERTIES NEXT TO ME

Currently living in a SFR; renovating it while living in it for about two years, while renting out the extra bedrooms to friends, until they moveout soon. The current plan is to buy and hold it until I die. I then plan to purchased and "house hack" a duplex while then renting out the entire SFR. I noticed in the last two months, the fourplex and another SFR were purchased. It appears they're gutting and rehabbing some or all of the units (This is good for me as it's more of a C+ location, but surrounded by A locations, and needs more rehabs in the neighborhood). I looked up on the city's website who purchased the properties, and it turns out its the same investor.

Would you do anything with this information, or should I just be grateful three out of the four houses on the block are being rehabbed this year?

Thank you
