Airbnb vacation rentals, yay or nay

I am curious about Airbnb beach rentals. Anyone have experience with these? Do they cash flow year round? I live in Midwest so would have to incur a management fee as well. I’m really new to investing and haven’t done any deals yet. Still studying deals, reading what I can and listening to podcast.
