Seattle multi-family properties.

Hello all, I’m trying to break into multi-family properties here in western Washington. I live in Seattle but would be interested in other areas such as Tacoma. Are there any of you out there that would be willing to share some knowledge on the subject? With all of the reading I’ve done I’ve come to the conclusion that watching the process of purchasing, fixing and renting such a property would be incredibly helpful. I’ve gone to a handful of the local REI gatherings but I seem to only come across wholesalers or people that have cash to lend - not a lot of property owners. Any input would be appreciated. ~ Greg
