Im buying a house from an auction from ohio and i live in PA. The buyer told me to call the title company in that area which is strange because I assume the seller is responsible for the deed transfer but anyways what should i do? call a title company in ohio?

I'm not certain about the type of auction this is. Is it a sheriff sale or a trustee sale? Is it REO being auctioned after bank has owned it as a result of foreclosure? Is it an estate being sold off?

Lots of auction types - lead to different issues to be concerned about.
