Creating contracts from scratch.

I would like to create an all in one contract to fit my investment strategies. If I was to do this, could I do this myself then let my attorney review it or just let my attorney draft the contract for me? How should I approach my attorney with this idea? My attorney once said contracts can be written anyway I want to as long as both parties agree to the terms in the contract.
