Real Estate in Girdwood, Alaska

Hello everyone,

After long deliberation on whether I should buy a multi-family property or a vacation rental for my first real estate investment, I believe I have settled on vacation rental.  First off, in your opinions, would this be the right move for me being that I am working over seas and plan on doing so for a while still?  Secondly, is it just me or is the real estate in Girdwood, AK slim pickings or what?  From what I can tell there really isn't much in the way of homes for sale.  If anyone knows something I don't about buying in Girdwood, I would much appreciate your help and knowledge.  Thank you very much and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
