Best way to get into real estate with $10,000 cash

I'm looking to get into real estate and trying to find the best option. I figure I'd try to aggregate the best advice from people with more experience. What are your recommendations for someone looking to get into real estate starting out with $10,000 cash? This is not a hypothetical question.
