What does two meters and one boiler mean?
Hello all,
So I am looking to buy this duplex and I noticed that it has two separate gas meters, but only one boiler. I called the gas company to find out about what all I need to do to separate the utilities and this guy from the gas company I was speaking with said that since there are already two meters, all I will need is to have a contractor come out and put a new boiler and hook one of the meters with the new boiler and I should be good.
Anyone with experience with this, can you please confirm if that's correct that if there are two separate gas meters, all I really need is a new boiler and the pipe work is already done since there are two meters.
Thanks!
