how to reduce property taxes
I have a client who has owned about 7 acres of land for the past 30 years. There is a home on the land however most of the land has been deemed wetlands and completely unusable. Through out ownership taxes have been manageable however now my client is approaching a fixed income lifestyle and increasingly more and more expensive property taxes. I know a third party is not going to buy swamp land, however would the town buy any of it back? Aside from selling the property does my client have any way to mitigate property taxes?
Thank you
