How do I buy neighbors vacant home after they have passed away?

I own a house in the same neighbor hood as a vacant home. I did a search on the auditors site to find the home owners name. Then I did a search on his name to find out he committed suicide in the house a couple of years ago. I am still very interested in buying this house but don't know what my next step should be to find out how to buy this house?
