New Home Inspector, what do you folks look for?
Good morning,
New home inspector here and I'm looking to grow my home inspection business through marketing, word of mouth, and a positive online presence. The eventual goal is to develop a long enough runaway (thank you Scott Trench!) to use this business as a jumping off point for rental investments.
I actively seeking feedback from the BP community as to what specifically works for you when determining who you call for your home inspection needs. If you are an agent, does it help to bring doughnuts by the office every week or so? Do you simply call a friend or the same inspector from last time? If google/web searches a platform you use in finding local inspectors?
Any advice or insight anyone can offer is very much appreciated!
Thank you!

I think you need to try all of those marketing tactics, I think the most important part of this is the result/delivery:
Be punctual to appointment
Have an easy to read platform
Be thorough
Deliver the report in a timely manner
