Has anyone heard of the SCOOP oil fields in Oklahoma? Is this suppose to be bigger than the Bakken in North Dakota?

I wouldn't say its bigger than the Bakken, but its large. Most people group the SCOOP and STACK areas together in Oklahoma, and while they are not geographically bigger than the Bakken, they are attracting more interest in a low price environment. People can make money at sub $35 oil in Oklahoma, whereas the Bakken requires a higher commodity price ($45-50) to turn a profit. I believe that SCOOP/STACK is the only thing that kept Oklahoma afloat during the last downturn.
