Hefty Sales

I was speaking to an agent today and she says that 89 houses were sold in my town yesterday. Yes, 89 in one day.

I am not in a large town, so it seems to me that this is good news. At least something is moving.

Mostly priced between $100k and $200k, so probably the buyer's incentive had some pretty major effect. It's probably not going to help the market when the incentive expires.

It's nice to see houses being removed from inventory. Now if the banks would stop dumping theirs for rediculous prices......

Heads up bargain hunters, if you want properties on sale, maybe best not wait too long.
