Living in one of the hottest real estate markets

I guess I have somehow found my way into living in one of the hottest real estate markets and have no idea how to tap in. Advice from anyone on who to contact, what to say, or just sit on the sidelines and watch other people achieve their goals. I'm broke, no creditors will look my way. I am academically successful and have a great job. Money management is where I need to start, this I know. But what does that mean. How dumb is that living in the richest country in history and I don't know how to manage money. Now I know I can't be the only person who has no clue, looking for advice if anyone has any. Jeff

@Jeff Berry

I agree with both @Stephen Kiser and @Matt K.

I think your first goal is to start getting your financial health in order. Create a plan and start following it (get out of debt, build credit, put money towards an emergency fund as well as investing, etc.); but also start networking in the meantime. Go to those local REIAs and see if you can provide any value for another investor. Selflessness is a great way to get into any business.

Best of luck
