How do you find properties outside the MLS in Ontario, Canada?

That's basically it, how do you find properties outside of the MLS?

I've gone to some real estate investment meetups. At those there were realtors and I guess that helps, but they have a motive to sell, so I'm curious how you folks find your properties.
