house with unpermitted addition
have a house built in 1966 with 3000 square feet
but can only find permits for 2000 and an additional 300 square feet.
Not changing anything to require a permit. The appraisal reflects the 3000 square feet. This is in Dallas Texas. Do we sell as 3000 square feet as the appraisal or 2300 square feet with bonus square footage?
Any thoughts or inputs please

Texas is like Forest Gump's box of chocolates when it comes to building inspection. Isn't that the truth!!
