First time rental property investment in Florida
I live and work in NYC and would like to invest in rental property in Florida. I prefer Miami-Dade or Broward counties, multifamily homes come to mind first. I currently have no experience in Florida real estate but only a good will to invest and eventually move in 1 to 2 year period.
Thank you for your suggestions

Thanks! Well, it all started with my wife`s wish to live in Miami. Having visited the city many times and having been in hospitality for most of my adult life I agreed with the idea. Now I would like to complement the idea of moving there with a rental property that can supplement my income. Than we see what happens next.
Hi Voyo! I just moved with my wife from Las Vegas to Hollywood, Florida, and we are so happy with the change. Climate here has been awesome so far. Many people moving from the north... We love this neighborhood, 30 minutes north of downtown Miami. It's Broward County, near the beach and near Fort Lauderdale's airport. It's not the same to look for a property to rent out as an investment or to look for your next home and rent it out in the mean time. What's your case? If you need more local information please let me know...
