Buy a 1 BR condo or not?

Normally I would think to stay a way from small one BR condos. Since family are usually looking at least a 2 BR. I'm a buy and hold guy look for cash flow. Lately I've been keeping my eye on a particular 1 BR 525 sq. Ft. condo a few blocks from the beach. Since it's so small it falls right into my price range. Anyone who has experienced in this situation at all please comment.
