The death of Color?!?

Hey BPers, I've been house shopping lately, looking to hack into my next house. Dallas, Fort Worth area, and I've noticed tons of rehabs out there and they're all painted the same colors (if you call neutrals colors that is) penitentiary gray and slate blue. Soooooo boring! It makes ugly houses uglier and kills pretty houses dead. Is this a trend we'll look back on and laugh at one day? What's wrong with a little COLOR?!?!?! Sorry, maybe it's just the artist in me, had to vent. What colors do y'all use? I'm interested in cool new ideas! Thanks! Stevo Hurst, Texas
