Real estate and corporations

Hi all,

My Name is Curtis, my girlfriend are I are ready to purchase our first property less a few particulars. Our current critical path includes starting our corporation first before purchasing the property.

Our initial understanding was that its value added for many reasons to have your investment properties help by your corporate entity, however, recently I was told california will no longer allow this. Technically this wouldn't completely halt the planning if its true as we were looking to incorporate in Nevada, but, we are hoping if someone can give some insight on whether or not its absolutely essential to get that corporation started first, and if you could offer the pros and cons of holding your property under the corporation.

-Curtis
