Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you knew of different places and links where you can read and learn how to study consumer reports, census reports and market trends.

I'm starting out and would love to know where to invest. I have to place where I could start ( Texas or Louisiana) and would like to make an educated decision before I purchase my first property and register an llc.

@Cristian Rivera that's too much thinking for me; consumer reports, census reports. What do you want to do? Buy/hold, flip, wholesale? Many of the local MLS websites have local housing information.

If your primary residence is in Louisiana, start close to home. Check out the local real estate groups in our area. Contact BP locals from the specific areas you like and ask their opinion of the areas.

Right now, Baton Rouge & surrounding areas affected by the flood are in need of good rehabbers.

Hope this helps.
