Dear BPers,

I am interested in a SFR where the numbers seem to work. This is in the Sacramento California area, its an old 1940's house and needs a total overhaul of plumbing since the pipes are galvanized and also needs and upgrade on electric wiring among other fixes. Could fellow BPers please chime in and throw some light on the kind of costs associated with replacing the entire plumbing and electric wiring for an entire house, its a 3b/2b SFR. What kind of costs am I looking at? Would appreciate if you'll could share any personal experiences.

What kind of foundation?

Without details I would ballpark it at $4500 for electrical and $4500 for plumbing.
