Offer on Home without Buyer's Agent
Trying to make offers on homes listed on MLS without using a Buyer's Agent.
- can I make offer that leaves out buyer's agent commission? Thereby pocketing the savings on that forgone commission?
- can I make an offer without using a Real Estate Attorney? Do I just email an offer, or do I have to use official real estate forms to make the offer? (And if so, is this safe to do without having it reviewed first by an attorney?)
Thanks!

Generally speaking. When a house is listed they offer the listing agent an amount.... let's say 6%. The agent is allowed to split it with a buyers agent. If you don't bring one in the listing agent keeps it all, not the buyer. That agreement is in place before it hits the MLS so you changing it is unlikely.
