Getting Financing

We just wrote an offer on another house deal and wrote it contingent on financing.  The other deal we got accepted, we paid cash for and all other offers have been cash.  This one is a little more than we have so we will need financing.  We have great credit scores and I am looking for the best option to find a loan quickly.  Our Realtor said she has referrals for a few lenders they have worked with and have been reliable.  Should I just go with one that looks the best or call a local bank, or mortgage company we have worked with in the past?  Obviously we will review the charges but I am wondering if asking more places creates additional inquiries that will negatively affect our credit.

Thanks in advance for the responses.
