AirBNB - new law affecting NY

Good morning- Sitting here watching the news and HLN had a report of a new law affecting apartment owners who rent out their space. Sounds a bit odd but apartment owners can only rent their apartment "if" they are there at the same time. This is what the new law would impose. I don't know how Air works completely and have read a little on BP about others who are more immersed. Maybe this is to curb RE investors somehow, I don't know.... Likely AirBNB will fight this....
