Buying in Akron, Ohio???

Hey everyone!

I am currently located in Akron, Ohio. I want to start investing ASAP and I wanted to ask the people who know much more than I do... is Akron, Ohio a good location to invest in?

I'm not quite sure if I should invest at home or relocate to a different area where I would be more successful. If anyone could help me out, I would appreciate it!

Thanks!

p.s. (Just upgraded to Pro. I love this website!)

Hi @Bryan Detweiler, What kind of investing are you planning to do? (flips, wholesales, Contract assignment, Rentals (if so what kind?), Lease option, Wrap around mortgage, sub 2, BRRRR, what is/are your acquisition strategy(ies)? What is your experience level?

I invest in Canton, Akron, and Youngstown but they all do something different for me.

In Akron landlords have some hoops to jump through, in Ohio wholesalers have some hoops to jump through, Parts of Akron are worthless and you cant flip, etc etc etc. Let me know what you're planning to do and I'll give you my two cents.

OH AND, GOOD LUCK SIR,

Adam Adams
