New Build
I just broke ground on 2 new builds in the Knoxville TN area. The builds are SFH in a subdivision. The houses should sell for between 170 and 180. I am thinking about going ahead and putting them on Zillow to get some conversation about them. Maybe some inquiries. Possibly even an early interested buyer that would like specifics done to the house. Are there any con's to having a build on Zillow 5 months before its ready?
Thanks,
Ben

Pro is you can get it under contract and have a buyer ready before it is done. Con is a buyer can also drive you crazy with requests, change orders, indecisiveness on finishes, etc. I prefer to have it complete and then list. That can also give you leverage to ask more once you know the total cost you have in it and possibly get multiple offers.
