Experiences at Foreclosure Auction

While I was working at a Beverly Hills based investment group a year back, we quickly realized that the landscape at foreclosure auction was extremely competitive. In fact, it seemed to be dominated by a few big players who create a large barrier to entry by bidding properties up to the point where they would only make sense for those with in-house crews and who were doing an extremely high volume of deals.

I'd love to hear peoples' more recent experiences at LA, Ventura and Orange County foreclosure auctions though, as perhaps this has changed.
