Short-term leasing
I live in a college town and the student rental market seems rather maxed out. However, in addition to all of the college students there are many faculty and researchers who are here for a few (3-9) months. Many of them are from other countries. I'm thinking of acquiring some homes to cater to this market. I'll include all utilities and having them furnished to make these convenient for the renter. I work for the university so I feel I have access to these individuals. Has this strategy worked for anyone here? I'd appreciate any thoughts on rental pricing for this market. Other thoughts or concerns?
