House hacking in Dallas / Fort Worth area

Good morning BP, I am currently in the military overseas and will be retiring soon and moving back to the Fort Worth / Dallas area. I am looking to house hack starting out. Does anyone know of any good neighborhoods preferably outside the DFW area where this could be possible. I also have two young school age boys to consider in my search.

@Warren Robinson DFW is a huge area. Can you share some more specifics about what you're looking for? Location/access to city, size of town, price range, etc?
