Quiiiiiiiiiick Tip of the Day: When networking in any form of environment after you introduce yourself with a smile and a firm handshake, make eye contact and show a genuine interest what the other person has to say. If you are able to get a business card write on the back of the card a personal detail about that person as soon as you finish talking to them. When you follow up with them mention that in your email or phone call and it will help you along the way.

Question of the Day: After consuming over 50 hours of podcast during the past two weeks during my daily commute and while interning in a finance position I've started expanding my knowledge of the real estate community. I know there are hundreds of books and blogs with useful information and I will try to consume as much as possible but what are practical steps to get into the game. I live in the bay area as a full time student at UC Berkeley.

I've already started networking and setting up calls as well as singing up for local meet ups. What else should I focus on to have my first rental property before graduating?
