Hi,

Has anyone invested in Air BNB? I am comparing numbers from a regular rental and a Air BNB in a good location and it just makes a lot more sense to go with Air BNB. I am curious to get people's input, good or bad experiences. Any input is appreciated.

Dave,

We have been involved in RE for going on 10 years and have done everything from short sales to flips and now buy and hold rentals and we own a property management company.  We just bought our first vacation rental this January.  It's 2 cabins in Westfield, WI and if you have the extra time to deal with it, I highly recommend it.  I advertise on VRBO (not AIRBNB yet) and since listing it this spring, our bookings have already paid for the entire years costs.  It's the greatest thing to spend time at this beautiful property and know that it doesn't cost me anything and in fact will make me money :)  Ours is on a lake and only 1/2 mile from snowmobile and ATV trails.  I'd be happy to share more of our experience so far if you have any questions.

Good luck,

Karmen
