Must buy home from one who emailed it first?

Hi everyone! I got an email of a listing that interested me, but I have never formally worked with this agent who sent it to me (another agent told this agent we were interested in investing in his area, so he had the agent add us to his mailing list). There was no agreement that he would be our agent and we are not in contact. Our only connection is being on his mailing list. I have an agent I am actually working with to find a rental property. Is it ok to show my current agent this listing (and possibly purchase it) if I originally saw the listing from the first agent's email?
