Back taxes owed??

Hi BPers,

Can anyone recommend a way to quickly find out exactly what back taxes are owed on a property, as well as if the taxes have been sold to third party, aside from a title agent?

I know you can access the yearly tax amount through the tax assessor's website but haven't been able to find out exactly what is owed.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Best Regards,

@Account Closed,

See if the country recorder's office in your area has a website. It should provide for looking up documented recorded for a property, usually listed chronologically. If it does, you cna get an idea of what's going on with a property.

The tax collector's office may also have their own website where can lookup properties and their taxes, tax payments, etc.

Google "DeKalb County Georgia"

Hope you can find what you need.
