Can you work with 2 realtors at the same time?

Hello everyone! We are looking to invest in properties out-of-state (we are CA residents, investing in FL). We want to purchase 2 homes this year. Is it bad to use two separate realtors at the same time, each to find a rental property for us? I have read that it's taboo to use more than one realtor at a time. On the one hand, I don't want to offend anyone, but on the other, it would be ideal to find the 2 properties simultaneously. Our first realtor is great so far, but upon networking I met a realtor who is great as well and I want to see what he can do to help us. I have zero experience in real estate, I just started helping my husband a few weeks ago, researching and looking for realtors and lenders to work with. So please forgive me if I am missing something basic!
