Multiple offers sent at the same time: is it ok?

Is it ok to send multiple offers at the same time even though I will only buy one at the end? My agent says it is ok....but what if 2 of them accept? I would be in contract with 2 simultaneously...Is there something in the offer sent that needs to be included to avoid any pb?
