Heroin & Meth Labs

So I'm a new buyer and the area I'm working in has a vast amount of Meth and Heroin bust and things like that. I have not yet bought anything and obviously good renter screening is the best way to avoid this problem but it's sometimes unpredictable when you screen potential renters. They hold good jobs and do everything the "normal" individual would do. Also when looking into houses some of them are on an FBI watch list for future potential busts or convictions. Does anyone else run into similar problems?

Plus, from another aspect: I don't know about the heroin part, but when it comes to places that were used as meth labs, there is a LOT of remediation required to make them safe for occupation.
