Last Opportunity to Close and I don't know what to do

I've been working on purchasing this ONE PROPERTY since September and I still haven't made it to the settlement table. Today is actually the last opportunity to close before the selling bank charges a $100 per diem.  I'm using a 203k loan to purchase a short sale and there have been a series of challenges along the way. It took the selling agent months to respond to my offer. I had to fire and hire a new 203k consultant after missing two closing dates because his write up was not complete according to the bank. The new extension includes a $100 a day per diem for everyday beyond today and the paperwork is still with the underwriter. What should I do? Should I cut my losses or should I wait? This is very frustrating.
