Charlotte has 3 major REIAs (Hobby Millionaire, Metrolina, and Charlotte REIA), and I recommend that you look into them all. Many of these have subgroup meetings, and you should select a meeting based on your end goal. There are some smaller groups focused on fix & flip, wholesaling, and more.

I am on the advisory board of Hobby Millionaire.  Search meetup.com for all these groups.  Understand that some groups have a membership cost and some meetings end with a pitch for a course.
