hello bigger pockets community.I am currently looking at homes to purchase.   How can you tell  if you can add an additional bedroom or bathroom to a property. How does one choose a property like this. All while keeping within budget, adding header beams and permits etc.  Im looking for a home to flip and turn a profit.  Im looking for the right deal.  Ive been a buy and hold investor up to this point,  now im looking to expand the tools in my tool belt with flips.   Can anyone out there provide me with some direction.

I usually look at 2 bedroom houses that have a lot of extra square footage. If you see a 2/1 that is 1,200 sq ft + I am guessing there will be enough space to add another bedroom somewhere or enough space to adjust the layout. Hopefully you can convert it into a 3/1.5 or 3/2 and increase the value significantly. Just one example of what I look for.
