Murder House?!
Hello BP Community, I have a few questions regarding a house that I might wholesale.
I went to view the property yesterday, and although the house is a total gut job, the location is great and home values are strong. I figured that even with the houses condition, the price seemed low. The listing agent then told me that there had been a murder in the house last year. (!)
My question is, does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing? The house is not in a bad area, and our crime rates are at about national average.
If I were to wholesale this house to a cash buyer, would they then have to disclose the murder to their potential retail buyers?
The property was listed at land value, and any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance

This varies state to state, but assuming the property is in your state (California), yes - it would have to be disclosed to the buyer.
